A nice little town - 9/4/2008 I moved here from Northern California to go to West Texas A&M. Constructed in 1929-1930 by damming Dog Creek for the purpose of providing water to the city of Claremore, Oklahoma and houses recreational amenities such as boat ramps, fishing docks, and picnic areas. Claremore born and raised, and seen the city limit line extend further and farther away over the yrs. 30 persons. claremore city limits
